Weather in Cambodia

Like many countries in South East Asia, Cambodia has 2 distinct seasons: Rainy and Dry.

The Dry season runs from November - May. Conditions are hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching into the 30ºC (86ºF) zone. Pack plenty of suncream and drink lots of water!

Rainy (sometimes called 'monsoon') season typically spans from Jun - October, with the wettest month being September. Although you should expect heavy showers most days, typically they only occur for a short time in the afternoons.

Many visitors opt for 'shoulder seasons' at the start/end of the rainy season (May/Jun and Oct/Nov). You might get a little wet, but prices are often cheaper and there are fewer other tourists around!
